DATA INTEGRITY ACCELERATOR

7-DAY IMPLEMENTATION CHALLENGE

Your First Step From Curiosity to Capability

Day 7: Present Findings - Turn Clean Data into Strategic Insight

Objective

Today’s mission is to bring everything from the past six days into one clear, strategic summary.
You’ve surfaced, assessed, cleaned, standardised, and verified your data - now it’s time to step back and connect the dots.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a concise Data Integrity Report, your evidence of progress and the foundation for your next stage of AI readiness.

Why This Matters

Activity only becomes impact when it’s captured, shared, and acted upon.
Without reflection, the improvements you’ve made risk slipping back into daily operations.
This final step transforms your sprint from a checklist into a narrative of change - showing what improved, what remains inconsistent, and where your next wins lie.
This isn’t admin; it’s accountability.

The Exercise

Step 1 - Review Your Workbook (10–15 mins)

Open your Interactive Workbook and review everything you’ve captured over the past six days.
Look over your dataset inventory, health checks, standardisation notes, ownership mapping, and review cycles.
Your goal here is recognition - not editing. Notice patterns, improvements, gaps, and surprises.

Step 2 - Complete the Day 7 Reflection (10 mins)

In the Day 7: Present Findings section of your workbook, answer the following:

Step 3 - Complete Your DIS Mini-Score (5 mins)

Score each category from 1–5 based on your findings this week:
1 = Very poor / unreliable
3 = Acceptable but inconsistent
5 = Strong, reliable, well-maintained

Your average score gives you a quick snapshot of your overall data integrity level.

Step 4 - Build Your Action Plan (10 mins)

Use the Action Plan section of your workbook to outline your next 30–60 days.
Keep each task practical, achievable, and clearly assigned.

For each item, define:

Open Your Interactive Workbook

To get the most out of each module in this Accelerator, make sure you have your Interactive Reflection Workbook open as you work through today’s exercise. This is where you’ll capture insights, document what you uncover, and track your progress throughout the 7-Day Sprint. Use it alongside every lesson, your workbook is the place where learning turns into clarity, decisions, and real momentum.

Frequently Asked Questions

+

Module 7 – Summary & Reporting

What should my final Data Integrity Report include? +
Your report should summarise: your data sources, error patterns, accuracy improvements, standardisation rules, ownership assignments, and remaining risks or gaps. It becomes the foundation for automation and AI-readiness.
How do I score my Data Integrity Score (DIS)? +
Score each category from 1–5: Source Clarity, Accuracy, Duplication, Standardisation, Ownership, and Review Process. Average the scores. The higher the number, the more AI-ready you are.
How do I present my findings to leadership? +
Keep it concise — 1 page or 1 slide. Focus on what improved, what still introduces risk, and what investments are needed next. Leaders want clarity, not complexity.
What should go into my next-steps action plan? +
Your plan should include: systems to update, datasets needing deeper cleaning, automation opportunities, long-term standardisation rules, and future reviews. This becomes your roadmap for continuous improvement.
